Nitrogen Inflation
Nitrogen tire inflation is available. Ask us whether it's right for your vehicle.
We fill tires with nitrogen instead of regular air. Nitrogen leaks out of a tire more slowly than air and stays dry inside it, so your tires hold the right pressure longer.
What it does in the cold
Cold weather still lowers tire pressure, about 1 psi for every 10 degrees, with nitrogen or with air. Nitrogen helps by keeping the rest of the loss small, so your tires spend fewer days running low.
Who it helps most
- Pickups, trailers and equipment that sit between uses
- Farm and commercial tires that carry heavy loads
- Anyone who doesn't check their tire pressure often
